O.k. I know this isn't very Christmasy, but this I had to share. My husband works in the airline industry and we took a last minute trip to Venice, Italy this week. It was up there in the "coolest things I've ever done" category. I know we're crazy, but we flew all that way to be there for 24 hours. Yep, we actually did that. We lived on adrenaline and espresso and did as much as we could in that tiny amount of precious time. These are the memories that will stay with us forever though and I'm so glad we did it. Now that things are back to normal, I'll be soldering away on my necklaces and adding more Christmas pieces. But, just maybe I'll start daydreaming that I'm back in Italy with the gorgeous architectures, gondolas, breathtaking views and the smell of espresso and Italian food wafting in the air. I'll close my eyes and remember and I'm sure it will bring a smile. Ciao! Bella Venezia!!

That sounds like so much fun. I love being spontaneous. My husband and I have never been to Italy and would love to one day. Your pics are gorgeous! Thanks for visiting my blog too!
Oh, I'm so envious! I've barely been out of the southeast United States. You're right. That's a memory you'll enjoy the rest of your life. I would love to do something like that. My husband, on the other hand would not. He's not much on spontaneity. At least not on that scale. Then again, if he worked for an airline......
Enjoyed the visits. Both your visit to my "blog house" and mine to yours. You'll be on my regular visitation route.
That is my husband and mines dream. I bet you had a wonderful time. How romantic.. Happy Holidays!
I had to leave a comment her too!! We went to Venice this summer too!! I have some photos on my blog... not sure if they are Venice though. I think mostly Lake Como. What a coinkidink!!
