St.Simon's & show and tell
First of all, thank you all for your sweet congratulations about the magazine. I have been overwhelmed by the whole thing and sharing my excitement with my friends made it even more special. I am still not over it and suppose I never will be. It doesn't take much to make me happy I guess!
We did the St.Simon's on the Sound show this past weekend. It was a 2 day event and it was fantastic! I had several new things there that I will share with you here. One thing that was new was the Ellenay Tins. I will tell you how to do these because I have learned so much from all of you when you have shared. You start with an altoid tin. Decorate with pretty paper and add a glass glob magnet to the top (it stays wonderfully) I put my website under the glass so they have a way to remember to check back. The jewelry fits beautifully inside. Add a decorative ribbon and you have a pretty, functional package for the jewelry. It's a great gift for the customers right here at the holidays. A special thanks goes to my sweet Aunt Nancy for making these for me so I could concentrate on jewelry making. I think they turned out adorable and the customers loved them. Secondly, we also had Ellenay Minis at the show for the first time. These were a hit and a favorite with adults, teens and even young girls. They are made from the miniature glass globs as well as some small squares that fit on the charm bracelet for a really cute and easy look. Also new were many of the crosses as well as swarovski crystal shadow boxes. I couldn't get many good pics of those, so they are not here to see. I will work on those later.
The next show I will be at is the Defuniak Springs Hometown Christmas. It is the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Thank you for being so positive and for cheering me on. I'm so happy doing what I love and seeing it be loved as well...
Hugs to you all~
Lori
