Custom order client preview...Italia scroll

I had a custom order that I wanted her to see before I shipped it and thought I'd use it as a good example of a custom order. On my website, you will see a button for custom orders. It is for you to pick and chose exactly what you would like. It is completely your design ideas. I work closely with you to design a piece I think you would love. You get 5 design ideas for me to work with and I go from there. You will always get to see it to approve the design before I send it. These are always a lot of fun. Email me or click on the "custom order" button to create your design. If you want it in time for Christmas, time is running out!

Hugs~
Lori

Two more...

Measures approximately 1" square and has the tumbled rock edge. {28.00}

{58.00}
It measures approximately 1.5" square. It features the tumbled rock edge and a vintage crystal rhinestone charm. It's made from non-toxic, lead-free silver.
I will be adding more each day on the blog and then onto the website. This new watercolor, "Crystal Sea" is one of my favorites. It has just the right amount of shimmer that makes it look like the water is shimmering from the setting sun-just gorgeous! It is even more beautiful in person, as almost all of them are. I am not a photographer, so this has been challenging to capture just how beautiful these are. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! I've added my antique dictionary illustration of a bulldog. He's over 100 years old. This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Once he's gone, he's gone.

I hope you're having a wonderful time shopping, decorating, spending time with family, celebrating etc. It's a magical time of year.

Warm wishes~
Lori

New designs~Watercolor originals!

This project is close to my heart for many reasons. My sister, who is an artist teamed up with me to paint these beautiful, watercolor originals for me. She has always loved to paint and has many beautiful paintings to show for it. She is amazingly talented and never ceases to awe and inspire me. These miniature watercolors are each one-of-a-kind. They vary in size from 1.5"-2.25". They will be on display in Gulf Breeze, Florida at the craft holiday show this Friday. I will be adding her work to the website as a new line that is ever-changing with one-of-a-kind paintings. This is only a very small sampling of her watercolors. This is extremely exciting for me because it has always been my dream to have my sisters working with me. So, I would like to introduce you to my new watercolor artist at Ellenay Designs, Sonya Thompson.

With Love,
Lori

P.s. If you are interested in purchasing any of these designs, please email me for pricing information.

St.Simon's & show and tell

First of all, thank you all for your sweet congratulations about the magazine. I have been overwhelmed by the whole thing and sharing my excitement with my friends made it even more special. I am still not over it and suppose I never will be. It doesn't take much to make me happy I guess!
We did the St.Simon's on the Sound show this past weekend. It was a 2 day event and it was fantastic! I had several new things there that I will share with you here. One thing that was new was the Ellenay Tins. I will tell you how to do these because I have learned so much from all of you when you have shared. You start with an altoid tin. Decorate with pretty paper and add a glass glob magnet to the top (it stays wonderfully) I put my website under the glass so they have a way to remember to check back. The jewelry fits beautifully inside. Add a decorative ribbon and you have a pretty, functional package for the jewelry. It's a great gift for the customers right here at the holidays. A special thanks goes to my sweet Aunt Nancy for making these for me so I could concentrate on jewelry making. I think they turned out adorable and the customers loved them. Secondly, we also had Ellenay Minis at the show for the first time. These were a hit and a favorite with adults, teens and even young girls. They are made from the miniature glass globs as well as some small squares that fit on the charm bracelet for a really cute and easy look. Also new were many of the crosses as well as swarovski crystal shadow boxes. I couldn't get many good pics of those, so they are not here to see. I will work on those later.
The next show I will be at is the Defuniak Springs Hometown Christmas. It is the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Thank you for being so positive and for cheering me on. I'm so happy doing what I love and seeing it be loved as well...

Hugs to you all~
Lori

It's Official- we're in Romantic Homes magazine!

Oh man! I'm trying to be calm, but I'm ecstatic! My tea themed bracelet (the reverse side is blue willow tea pots and cups) I made for Karen-sweetnecessi-teas.com, was chosen to be in the Romantic Homes December issue. We've known for awhile, but didn't announce it in case it didn't really make the cut. Well, I've seen it for myself (thank you, Jeanne!) and am very excited to share this news with you all. Ellenay Designs, the name didn't make it, but you can only get it through Karen anyway, so check it out there! If you subscribe to Romantic Homes, it's on page 27.
I just have to share this. About a year ago, I was talking to my Mom about this magazine. It really is my favorite and I even display favorite issues on an easle in my kitchen. I held up an issue and told my Mom that I really wanted to be in this magazine someday. It was my secret dream that I shared with her. For it to become a reality has been fabulous! I can't explain it.
Lastly, I just want to say, do what you love and never stop dreaming!

Have a great week!
Lori

Show Highlights

I'm so excited about how the craft show went today. It began with the staff walking around to the vendors offering us coffee and raspberry scones while we set up. This was a great beginning to a great show. It was very busy and we sold almost the entire new Divine Designs Collection! I was still in the process of adding them to the website, but now I will add new ones instead. I have more crosses, coins, keys etc. on the way. The First United Methodist Church is a wonderful host. I will definitely make plans to be there every year.
We had such a great time! Sarah Clauson's Photography is just gorgeous. We had fun teaming up to showcase our work individually as well as our combined effort with custom photo jewelry. My sweet friend, Jen, is one in a million! She came to the show to help me early on a Sat. morning and stayed for the show and then helped me take it all down. What an awesome, selfless friend she is. Thank you, Jen! Love ya, girl.
I look forward to making new jewelry for the Divine Designs Collection and hope to have it ready sometime this week.

Warm hugs,
Lori

Divine Designs-The Metal Collection

Here are some of the new fall/winter designs I have been working on. These will be for sale in the etsy store soon and also at the craft bazaar in Niceville this coming Sat. I'm having trouble with my website which is why they will be in the etsy store only for now.
As many of you know, my faith is a big part of who I am. I grew up the daughter of a Pastor, but it is so much more than that. That was just a gift to have such a perfect childhood. As an adult, it is also my faith, my most important goal in life as a mother to pass on, my reason for being. I love the fact that these new designs really let me express that in my jewelry.
I came across these vintage brass crosses and nautical designs, and I fell in love with the 3 dimensionsal look of them under glass framed in silver. I have decided to start a whole collection of these and have named them, "Divine Designs-The Metal Collection". They are Spiritual, for the most part, and they are my favorite. I cannot really explain how much I enjoyed working on these. On my blog you will find the verse, "Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us and establish thou the work of our hands." I really want this verse to be true in my life. I hope you enjoy them and feel His love through my eyes.

With joy~
Lori
